What Owlgorithm does

Why Owlgorithm requests Google and YouTube data
Continue with Google is account sign-in only. It requests openid, email, and profile so you can create or open an Owlgorithm account. It does not connect YouTube and does not request YouTube scopes.
Connect YouTube is optional and happens later on Platforms. When you choose it, Owlgorithm requests only https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload and https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly. Upload lets Creator Studio and Post Now publish or schedule videos you already made to your own channel. Readonly lets us read that channel’s name and id and confirm that an upload belongs to you so we can mark YouTube Connected honestly.
We do not sell YouTube or Google user data. We do not use it for advertising, credit decisions, or independent surveillance. Tokens are encrypted at rest. You can disconnect YouTube in Platforms or revoke Owlgorithm in your Google Account permissions.
